EAD876: Budgeting and Finance in Higher Education

Instructor: Brendan Cantwell

This course involved a tremendous amount of reading of the vast literature for financing higher education. While initially I thought the class was about financing k -12 education, I was pleased to learn about how the system works. I learned a great deal, and was able to synthesize my thoughts on the many essays over the course of the semester. I now realize that the system is not fair for everyone, and if I ever go through on my final dream of becoming a politician, then this course will be invaluable as a resource.

ED870: Capstone Seminar

Instructor: Mathew Koehler

As the final summative course, I have really enjoyed ED870. It took a while for me to choose what I wanted my website to look like, but once I did, everything came together much easier. Working with my group, and the different opinions and viewpoints that existed really helped me to get a quality secondary view of my website. I enjoyed my group, and all of the great feedback that everyone produced. It made website turn out great and unique. I couldn't have done it without my classmates and the faculty. I learned a lot of invaluable website creating skills, in addition to refining my communication skills. It did not always go as planned, but nothing ever does. In the end, I am happy with all of the progress that I made this semester.
